Honolulu Museum of Art

Iolani Palace

Built in 1882, the Iolani Palace was the official home of Hawaiian royalty until the overthrow in 1893. Located in Honolulu’s art and business district, this National Historic Landmark features immaculate grounds perfect for afternoon picnics or reflection. The palace featured amenities that were considered state-of-the-art at the time: indoor plumbing, electric lighting, and a telephone.
Pearl Harbor / USS Arizona Memorial

Oahu’s most popular attraction, Pearl Harbor features the USS Arizona Memorial, USS Bowfin Submarine, USS Missouri Battleship, and Pacific Aviation Museum. The memorial and museums tell the stories of the Pacific War, including the events of December 7, 1941, the internment of Japanese-Americans, the battles in the Aleutians, and the occupation of Japan. .
Hawaii State Art Museum

Located in downtown Honolulu on the 2nd floor of the No. 1 Capitol District Building, the Hawaii State Art Museum offers insights and exhibitions related to the arts in Hawaii. Here you’ll find four galleries, the Diamond Head Gallery, the Ewa Gallery, the Sculpture Lobby, and the Sculpture Garden.

Ala Moana Beach Park

Located just a 5 minute walk from Ilikai Hotel & Luxury Suites, Ala Moana Beach Park is a favorite among locals and visitors. This 100-acre park offers large grassy areas , restrooms, showers, concession stands, a music pavilion, tennis courts and picnic areas.
Catamaran Cruise

Set sail on one of Waikiki’s most popular outdoor activities. A catamaran cruise is a great way to spend some time in the open water taking in views of Diamond Head, sipping on a Mai Tai, and sunbathing. Some catamarans offer snorkeling right off the boat, whale watching, or fishing.
Duke Kahanamoku Beach & Lagoon

Located just outside of Ilikai Hotel & Luxury Suites, this stretch of pristine white sands and sparkling waters is a perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming, and water activities. The lagoon features a state-of-the-art water circulation system and its calm conditions make it perfect for novice swimmers. Duke Kahanamoku Beach was recently named the #2 beach in America by Dr. Beach.
Surf and SUP Lessons

Waikiki is home to legendary surf and those who tame the waves. With just one surf lesson you will almost certainly catch a wave at Waikiki Beach. Or, try your balance with a Standup Paddling session. Either way, get your cameras ready because you’ll look like a regular surf legend on a longboard.
Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay

Hanauma Bay is a picturesque nature preserve dedicated to conservation and educating visitors about the ocean. Located on the eastern side of the island, Hanauma Bay offers world-renowned snorkeling and native marine life, some of which are found nowhere else in the word. You’ll be able to view unique marine life after a short video that will show you what you can expect to see, and how to responsibly enjoy the water.

Honolulu Zoo

Calling all animals lovers! Honolulu isn’t just clear water and sandy beaches. Check out the 902 animals that call the Honolulu Zoo home. With over 42 acres to explore, the zoo offers both animal and plant exhibits, a café, and educational programs. Your whole family will love the wild side of Waikiki.
Makapuu Point Lighthouse Trail

Just east of Waikiki are two trails that offer completely different views and experiences of Oahu. Arrive at Makapuu State Park and take the paved trail up for spectacular whale watching (November – April) and views of Molokai and Lanai islands, or take the lower trail for a scenic route that will lead you along the coastline. Both trails are dog friendly!

Ala Moana Center

World-class shopping is only a 5 minute walk from Ilikai Hotel & Luxury Suites. Ala Moana Center truly has everything for anyone. From luxury brands to casual surf wear, there is something to pine for in this expansive indoor/outdoor mall. Royal Hawaiian Center and Luxury Row

Some of Hawaii’s best shopping is just an easy walk from your hotel. The Royal Hawaiian Center, comprised of 310,000 square feet of trendy shops and restaurants, is situated on Kalakaua Avenue. KCC Farmer's Market

Widely considered the most popular farmers’ markets on Oahu, the KCC Farmer’s Market is held each Saturday at Kapiolani Community College, located just a short drive from Waikiki. Enjoy a wide variety of local produce, locally-made products, and ono (delicious) food.
Chinatown & Downtown Honolulu
